But it would appear the truth is that Qingdao manufactures Kirkland Sigs. The corporation is extensively engaged in the production of sporting equipment. They primarily sell golf equipment, with Kirkland golf balls being their flagship product.

Acushnet Holdings who produce Titleist golf balls, filed a lawsuit against the Kirkland 4 piece golf balls. The lawsuit included eleven patent breaches.
After the issue was resolved out of court, production of the four-piece golf balls ceased.
Following that, in 2019, Costco introduced a revolutionary new 4-piece golf ball. It was the same price, but the quality seemed to be considerably inferior this time. Golfers flooded the internet with images of cracked golf balls with shattered covers and a slew of negative feedback.
